My condolences go out to all of the Arnold family and in particular to Lisa and Jackson. Your mother had a significant impact on my life and I am very fortunate to have known her and for me to be a part of her life was an honor. No words will ever truely express the feelings of the heart, only that she will be missed and will be loved forever, unconditionally.

Dear Family members. My condolences to you all for the passing of your mom, grandma and my Aunt. She was the last of a legacy in the family. It is a pleasure knowing you all and being cousins etc. May healing and closure come to you that need it, you were a busy and complicated family to say the least. Dear Gilbert, Renee, Jimmy, Tommy, Lisa, Bobby and Francis, My deepest condolences on the passing of your mother. I have only fond memories of her kindness and how welcoming and very glad she was to see Bill or I any time we dropped in. Your mom was always so proud of her children … always wanting the best for each one of you and excited to share your progress. I was always struck as well by her devotion to Uncle Gibby. They were a ‘team’. Your mom was a very strong woman who stuck up for her beliefs and was not shy about expressing them. You have all benefited immensely I am sure from the strong role modelling she provided. I hope you are able to take comfort in the many fond memories you shared with her. Sending deepest sympathy. Maman, you were a complex person and I learnt so much from you. You had an unbelievable strength of character to raise 7 children. Your motto to me was always " Do your best and the hell with the rest! " and this is what I try and do on a daily basis. Thank you for passing your strength to me. I am grateful for the many happy memories of visiting Uncle Gil and Tante Doreen in the big white house. Always so excited to visit my many cousins, exploring the big house and many rooms, playing outside in the big yard - hide and seek and even helping to weed the big vegetable garden. Playing with my cousins and eating freezies and candy, swimming at the family lake and our childhood antics like sneaking cigarettes from our moms. It was the highlight of our summers. When it was time for the long drive home, Tante Doreen made us candy treats and her yummy peanut butter rice krispie squares to enjoy on the way. Later in my life I fondly remember the many different discussions we had on life - kids - husbands- religion and God. You will always have a special place in my heart. Love you, til we meet again.
